    The reporting for this article was the result of an 11-month collaboration between Rolling Stone and the Starling Lab. Co-founded by Stanford University and the USC Shoah Foundation, Starling Lab created and implemented the cryptographic framework for the archive and contributed additional digital and in-field research for the investigation.
